• Logistics and Customer Service Coordinator

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Establish national and international shipping plans.  
  • Create internal procedures for an efficient shipping operation.
  • Procurement of inbound/outbound transportation services in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maximize P&L contribution through effective freight negotiations.
  • Coordinate trucks and prepare required paperwork with vendors, customers and Prairie AquaTech personnel.
  • Oversee warehouse operations to ensure the effectiveness of transportation planning.
  • Audit daily outbound truck loading paperwork and prepare freight invoicing documentation.
  • Develop and implement customer care plan.
  • Track and report customer care metrics.
  • Promptly answer incoming phone calls and assist or direct calls in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Ability to multi task effectively and possess detailed documentation skills. 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required, BA preferred
  • 3-5 years related experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and take on challenges in a fast-paced dynamic environment

• Sales Executive

The Successful Candidate will:

  • Network with aquaculture industry nutritionists, distributors, formulators and producers to positively represent Prairie AquaTech’s products and pricing
  • Assist in the development pricing strategies for existing and new products
  • Consistently achieve sales goals, as directed, and play a leadership role in establishing quarterly and yearly sales goals

Position details:

  • Successful experience of at least 5 years in technical sales within the animal health or nutrition industry is required
  • Successful experience with sales-related contact management processes is required
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales-related goals is required
  • Travel nationally and internationally to meet with existing and prospect customers is required
  • Representation at designated trade and industry-related events is required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in personal presentations, email and writing is required
  • Understanding of biological processes and terminology is required
  • Willingness to work within base+bonus compensation is required
  • Ability to work within an environment where confidentiality and trade secrets of company and customers must be upheld is required
  • Education of Batchelor or Masters Degree in animal health or nutrition is preferred
  • Experience in marketing, product development is preferred
  • Fluency in the English language is required; second-language fluency is helpful
